1. Tell us your name, your age, and where are you from?

My name is Rodrigo Saravia, I am 24 years old and I was born in Guatemala City.

  1. What do you like to do?

Besides playing soccer, I really enjoy listening to people and helping them if they need something. I always try to make them see that every situation has something positive, no matter how hard it seems.

  1. Which Wakami story you feel the most identified with?

The story that I most identify with is the one from Creaciones Miriane, because it represents the essence of Wakami; to open doors to people when nobody else opens doors for them, basically, give them opportunities for them and their families. This story goes hand in hand with me, I want to help people to have prosperity and that’s why I identify with this story.

  1. What is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to see Guatemala move forward, that the high levels of mortality and poverty diminish, and the corruption ends. So we can be a more advanced country and take advantage of everything we are wasting as a country and citizens; and as a personal achievement playing with Guatemala in a FIFA World Cup.

  1. What are you doing today to make that dream a reality?

I represent Guatemala the best way I can in the United States, practicing my sport, so that some day I can be an example or role model for children who live in Guatemala and could want to study abroad and also play professional soccer. I try to open the field to Guatemalans giving my maximum effort every single day and so I can place the “chapines” in the highest level and open more doors for us.

  1. Why did you become a dream chaser?

I became a Dream Chaser because I think Wakami is an excellent business with a vision that no other business has. I really like the way Wakami designs and works, and at the same time give opportunities and work to people who do not have any other kind of income.

  1. What would you say to a Wakami producer?

First of all I would give her a hug thank her for all the hard work she has done and tell her to keep fighting and working as hard as she can; because I know it is not easy at all.

  1. What does Purpose, Prosperity and hope means to you?

Purpose for me is the reason why I want to meet a goal, it´s determination. Prosperity is how far you can go, keep fighting and working for what I want, it does not matter how easy or how hard it is. Hope is something we have inside, without hope and faith you cannot accomplish anything. Having hope takes you places you could never imagine.
